User submissions
When you submit a tip, event, business, or other content to The Valley Pulse, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, and publish that content in the newsletter, on the website, and across our syndication channels. You warrant that you have the right to share what you've submitted and that it doesn't infringe any third-party rights.
We're under no obligation to publish any submission. Editorial judgment is the editor's.
Sponsor content
Sponsored content is clearly labeled per our sponsored-content disclosure standards. Sponsor relationships do not buy editorial coverage. The editorial and sponsored surfaces are mechanically and editorially separate.
Accuracy + disclaimers
We work to publish accurate, up-to-date information. We are not infallible, see our corrections page. We can't guarantee that every address, hour, price, or event detail will be exactly as published; verify before you travel. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Valley Pulse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Direct damages, if any, are limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for most users, is $0).
Termination
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the one-click link in any email. You may close a Supporter subscription at any time by replying to any Valley Pulse email; we don't auto-renew without a 30-day warning.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for users who abuse it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the newsletter and dated below. Continued use after a change means you accept the change.
